This beauty has a vibrant daylight colour that is highly saturated and bright.

A perfect gem with exceptional colour change, top starting and ending colours, cutting, clarity and importantly beauty.

If you are looking for a natural gem that is beautiful (known as 'emerald by day, ruby by night'), rare (top 10 rarest in the world; rarer than precious gems) and durable, this is the one. A true heirloom gem.

Originally found in Russia in the 1800s and named after Emperor Alexander II, Alexandrites are precious gems that are extremely rare. Those with a complete colour change and excellent clarity are rarer still.
